North Nodaway Board of Ed decides on bus purchases, talks food safety plan and budget

The North Nodaway School District Board of Education met earlier this week. The board accepted a bid from Midwest Bus Company for the purchase of two buses for the 2019-20 school year. The board also adopted a food safety plan to ensure all procedures are done properly and safely as possible. Superintendent for North Nodaway School District, James Simmelink, says there will be an ongoing discussion regarding the Preliminary 2019-20 Budget.

"A very preliminary budget was shown to the board for the 19/20 school year and in June, we'll begin much more detailed work."

The next meeting will be held June 19th at 7 p.m..
