MO governor signs executive order to ease regulations

Missouri Governor Mike Parson signed an executive order yesterday that will extend authority of the Department of Natural Resources to ease regulations during flood recovery. The order is an extension of a previous executive order issued on March 28th that allows the Department of Natural Resources the authority to temporarily waive or suspend any rule or regulation to serve the interest of public health and safety during flood recovery efforts. Governor Parson said that it is important to "make sure individuals on the ground have what they need to effectively respond to and recover from current and future flooding here in Missouri."  Parson signed an executive order on March 21st to declare a state of emergency in Missouri.
