Maryville Board approved bus routes, renewed lunch contracts and discussed new budget

The Maryville R2 School District met last week. The board approved the 2018-19 Student Services Transportation Bus Routes, the 2019 Summer School Bus Routes, and the 2019-20 Bus Rules and Regulations. Superintendent for the Maryville R2 School District, Becky Albrecht, says they will be renewing the Lunchtime Solutions Contract.

"They did vote to leave the student prices the same for next year.  Adult prices will be going up a little bit.  The company that is providing our services right now will continue to do so."

Albrecht says the board discussed next year's budget.

"Next year's budget is already a rough draft version, but we will be here in the next 30 days finalizing that for approval by our statutory deadline of June 30th."

The board also recognized several people at the meeting who are leaving the district for retirement or for extended service to the district which is service of 10 years plus. The next regular meeting will be Wednesday, June 19th at six p.m. in the Maryville R2 School District office board room.
