911 service disrupted in southern Nodaway County

Southern Nodaway County residents could experience problems with 911 service.  The Nodaway County Sheriff's office has reported on its Facebook page that it has been contacted by Century Link that there is a small area of disruption in the 911 service.  The department recommends residents who have trouble reaching emergency services by dialing 911 should call the office at 660-582-7451. The Sheriff's office was not given a reason for the outage or how long the problem may last.
