5th annual Random Acts Dinner to be held in June

The St. Joseph Performing Arts Association is hosting its 5th annual Random Acts Dinner in June.
This year's dinner is a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the association. Executive Director with the St. Joseph Performing Arts Association Beth Sharp says the event will bring together local acts.

"We have a meal, and throughout the courses, we'll have different local acts.  It could be anything from, oh gosh, somebody playing the guitar, to bagpipes, to ukuleles, maybe a dance lesson might happen throughout the evening.  You never know."

Sharp adds this year's dinner is a special celebration.

"The theme is our 40th anniversary or 40th birthday party, so we're calling it the Big 40.  It's going to be a taco bar.  We'll have cake and ice cream.  We'll have a cash bar with beer and wine and margaritas."

The St. Joseph Performing Arts Association's Random Acts Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 6th at the Pony Express Museum at 914 Penn Street in St. Joseph.  To reserve a spot, call the St. Joseph Performing Arts office at 816-279-1225 or in person at 719 Edmond Street.
