Filmore man seriously injured in accident

A Filmore, Missouri man is in serious condition after a one vehicle accident Sunday morning. According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 22-year-old Kiefer R. Gillenwater was southbound on US 71, 4 miles north of Savannah yesterday morning around 11:45 when he crossed the median, struck an embankment and was ejected from the vehicle. Gillenwater was transported to by Andrew County EMS to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. The accident was investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Andrew County Sheriff's Department.
