28-year-old man from Stanberry seriously injured in car crash

An 28-year-old Stanberry resident suffered serious injuries in a two vehicle crash on Highway 136 in Gentry County last night around eight o'clock.  According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident occured when a car driven by 18-year-old Kiera D. Greer was westbound on 136, one mile west of Stanberry and struck a westbound horse-drawn buggy driven by 28-year-old Eli L. Shrock of Stanberry.  Shrock was ejected from the buggy and taken to Northwest Medical Center in Albany and transferred by Life Net to North Kansas City Hospital.
