A Nodaway County Sheriff's Department investigation has resulted in an arrest of 28-year-old Cody James Maser Friday morning in Maryville. That's according to Nodaway County Sheriff Randy Strong.

"We've been getting some narcotics out into the county.  And my deputies, through interviews, traced it back to a source here in Maryville in the 500 block east of Maryville where we continue to have a problem.  We conducted 3 undercover covert drug buys from an individual in an apartment."

Strong says deputies from his department and Maryville Public Safety officers made the arrest Friday morning around 10:30.  A probable cause statement has been submitted to Nodaway County Prosecutor Robert Rice on three counts of delivery of a controlled substance.  Strong says Methamphetamine and scales were taken as evidence from Maser's apartment.
