Chillicothe Library hosts Open Sewing Lab Tuesday

The Livingston County Library in Chillilcothe is hosting an Open Sewing Lab for adults tomorrow from 3-6 p.m. The library sewing machines will be set up for public use in a drop-in style program. Director of the Livingston County Library Candice Warren says there has been a lot of interest in the past on people wanting to sew.

"So we actually at the library have 6 sewing machines available for public use.  So every once in awhile we'll open up the lab and people can bring their projects in or they can just come test out the machines to kind of get a feel for them.  We also have basic supplies such as irons, cutting mats, threads - things like that available. Patrons, of course, usually bring in their own fabric.  We also have a staff member on hand to kind of help with troubleshooting or any questions that people might have."

For more information about this program contact the Livingston County Library at (660) 646-0547.
