Former Northwest Missouri State University quarterback and Maryville native Jonathan Baker completed his first professional football season in France. Now he's taking his talents further north in Europe.

Baker signed to play for the Seinäjoki Crocodiles in Seinäjoki, Finland, and made his first appearance with the team earlier this week. He scored a pair of touchdowns for the Crocodiles in a loss.

After capping his career at Maryville High School with a perfect 15-0 record followed by three national championships as a Northwest Bearcat, Baker led Les Cougars de Saint-Ouen l' Aumône of France to a 5-4-1 record during his inaugural season as a professional.

Once his season with the Cougars was complete, he announced on Twitter that he received the opportunity to join the Crocodiles.

Baker is the quarterback and offensive coordinator for the Crocodiles. He spoke with KXCV-KRNW sports director John Coffey about his new team with his new duties. You can listen to the full interview above.
