The last First Friday Culture Talk to be this Friday

An event hosted by international students on the Northwest campus holds their final program of 2018 on Friday. The First Friday Culture Talk at the International Involvement Center in the B-D Owens takes place the first Friday of every month at 3:00 p.m . Coordinator of the International Involvement Center, Ashley Henggeler says the topic on Friday is a review of the past semester.

"Finding out how the semester went?  Did it meet their expectations?  What are they looking forward to for the break period?  If they're going home, what do they look forward to about home?  And that sort of thing.  So just really sort of closing the semester and seeing how the students got along."

Henggeler says it will be interesting to learn how the students perceive the past semester.

"I think they're going to find out that different students came into the semester maybe not having the same expectations.  And so finding out how the students got along throughout the semester, I think, will be a really good lesson for all of us.  Usually we have a panel of students, but tomorrow it'll be open to anybody who wants to share about their experiences."

The last First Friday Culture Talk is this Friday at 3:00 p.m. at the International Involvement Center.
