A winter weather advisory has been issued for parts of Eastern Kansas and Western Missouri. This includes the Kansas City metro area. Meteorologist with the National Weather Service Walter Otto says in northern Missouri there will be a chance of light snow this evening.
Otto also says there's chance of record low temperatures this weekend.
