Man seriously injured in vehicle accident

A Peculiar, Missouri man is seriously injured after an accident in Clinton County yesterday morning.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 22-year-old Caleb Vaughn was Northbound on Interstate 35 at the the 34 mile marker, 1 mile north of Holt. At approximately 1:33 a.m., his car traveled off the east side of the roadway, struck a guard rail, and overturned. Vaughn suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken by ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. The accident was assisted by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Clinton County Sheriff's Department, and Holt EMS.
