Former contestant from The Voice to sing at Brownville Concert Series

The Brownville Concert Series will present Josh Hoyer and Soul Colossal in cabaret this weekend. 

Hoyer hit the national scene last year with the opportunity to sing in front of a national television audience. He appeared on the 2017 season of The Voice, where he participated on Team Blake Shelton.

Brownville Concert Series board member Jan Wright says that Hoyer offers an energetic performance and incorporates elements of many different musical styles.

"He has a fabulous voice. He has a really wonderful, tight band. He does soul, funk, rhythm and blues, and it's absolutely electric. It's a very high-energy show and we are just so excited to have him here."

The performance in cabaret also gives fans a rare concert experience that isn't widely offered anymore.

"It's really unique if you get to see a performer in a true cabaret setting, which is a small house. There's a certain intimacy that develops between the performer and the audience."

Josh Hoyer and Soul Colossal will perform Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2 pm at the Brownville Concert Hall in Brownville, Nebraska. Ticket information is available here.
