New $5.4 million facility coming to St. Joseph

Yellow Frog Graphics announced plans to build a new facility in Mitchell Woods Business Park in St. Joseph.

The total estimated project cost is currently $5.4 million.

Yellow Frog purchased about 9 acres of land to build the facility, which will house the company's operations. The project is expected to create 50 new jobs over the next five years, from engineers to designers to installers, with average pay of $58,000.

Director of Communications and Marketing at the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce, Kristi Bailey, said bringing Yellow Frog to St. Joseph was made possible by the community coming together.

"This is really just a great example of how the chamber is working with our partners at the city, county, state and KCP&L to bring quality jobs to the community."

Yellow Frog provides vehicle graphics and wraps, with plans to use its new space to expand into apparel, embroidery, window tinting, signage, and more. The facility will be located south of the Mitchell Woods pond in St. Joseph.
