A 24-year-old man is in serious condition after a two-vehicle accident east of Trenton, Mo.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a tractor-trailer driven by 61-year-old Jackie Peacock of Lamar, Mo. was attempting to make a right turn into a Grundy County Missouri Department of Transportation parking lot when a pickup driven by 24-year-old Jordin Curtis of Trenton failed to observe Peacock and drove into the rear of the trailer.
Curtis was taken by Grundy County Ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton and then was transported by helicopter to Truman Medical Center in Independence.
