Lied Public Library launches Outdoor Concert Series

The Lied Public Library is launching a new event this weekend.

The Outdoor Concert Series will begin on Saturday at 2 p.m. Library director Andrew Hoppmann says the first act is known as Beauty and the McBeest.

Hoppmann says the event shows off several partnerships with other businesses in the community.

Beauty and the McBeest will kick off the Lied Public Library's Outdoor Concert Series this Saturday, April 21 at 2 p.m. outside of the library. If it rains, the concert will be moved indoors.

The event is free and open to the public.
