Chillicothe is going to have a new adoption center on Monday.
At 10 a.m., FosterAdopt Connect will celebrate the grand opening of its Chillicothe office at 409 Washington Street. Program director Garni Churan says FosterAdopt Connect's main mission is to connect kids with families. Churan says it's important to make sure all of the kids find families, and in northwestern Missouri that can be hard sometimes because of the shortage of foster families.
FosterAdopt Connect was founded in Cameron in 2016.
