MoDOT scheduled two small projects for tomorrow

The Missouri Department of Transportation has two short projects planned for tomorrow.

The first will take place in Cameron, as crews work on overhead roadway lighting on the ramps at the Interstate 35 and Route 36 interchange. Crews will be off the roadway, but equipment and workers will be present near the road and drivers are urged to use caution. The work is supposed to only take two hours, scheduled from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m., but the work is weather permitting and subject to change.

The second project will take place in Atchison County and is expected to last from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will be replacing a culvert and closing Route O between Satchel Avenue and 160th Street south of Westboro.

Motorists will need to use an alternate route while the road is closed. The work is only supposed to take seven hours, but it is weather permitting and subject to change.
