Northwest's African Student Organization presents "A Taste of Africa"

Northwest Missouri State University's African Student Organization will present "A Taste of Africa," a cultural and educational celebration, at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 3 in the JW Jones Student Union Ballroom.

The event is meant to celebrate African culture and give students a chance to experience something new, according to Estella Wesseh, the president of the African Student Organization.

The event, which is open to the public, will feature art, music, traditional African food, and a fashion show. Wesseh says the event gives attendees the opportunity to gain insight about the African culture and people.
