Dr. Temple Grandin delivers lecture on "multiple intelligences"

Dr. Temple Grandin, an animal science professor at Colorado State University, visited Northwest Missouri State University Thursday to deliver the James L. Lemon Lecture.

Grandin, who is a world-renouned autism spokesperson and livestock consultant for animal behavior, chose to give her lecture on multiple intelligences and the importance of different minds in every part of life.

Grandin says there are a number of people who were important in their fields despite their unconventional intelligences, and their accomplishments cannot be overlooked.

Grandin also spoke on artificial intelligence. She says the rise of artificial intelligence does not affect the importance of several hands-on jobs.
