Gas prices in Missouri decline

With the holiday season approaching, gas prices in Missouri have fallen over the last few weeks.

According to GasBuddy, the current average price in Missouri is $2.20 per gallon which is down 4.6 cents per gallon from last week and 12.5 cents per gallon from a month ago. The head of petroleum analysis with GasBuddy, Patrick DeHaan, says this could be due to the time of year. DeHaan says that in the next few days the trend of lower prices could continue, but as Christmas approaches that could change.

DeHaan adds that in Missouri travelers can expect prices within 10 or 15 cents of the current average of $2.20 per gallon during the holiday season.
