St. Joseph Visitors Bureau to provide information sessions regarding solar eclipse

The St. Joseph Visitors Bureau, along with the City of St. Joseph, has scheduled a series of information sessions for 9 a.m., 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26, regarding the total solar eclipse that will occur August 21. Each session will last about an hour-and-a-half.

During the presentations the Director of Astronomy at the University of Missouri Dr. Angela Speck will provide information on the history of eclipses and the special effects you can expect to see.

St. Joseph Visitors Bureau Community Facilitator for the Solar Eclipse Beth Carmichael says at the end of each session there will be a question and answer period for the audience.
