Camden Point man killed in four-vehicle crash

A 37-year-old Camden Point man was killed in a four-vehicle accident that shut down I-29 for hours last night in Platte County.

According to a report from the Missouri Highway Patrol a tractor-trailer rig driven by 63-year-old Carl D. Braddock of Geneva, Neb. was northbound on I-29 near Camden Point around 6:45 p.m. and crossed the median striking three southbound vehicles. The driver of one of those vehicles, Nathan A. Danneman, Camden Point was pronounced dead at the scene. Braddock and two others received minor injuries.

The accident was investigated by the Missouri Highway Patrol, Platte County Sheriff's Department and Buchanan County Sheriff's Department.
