Northwest Tennis Team Wins Sweet Sixteen Match

The 18th ranked Northwest Missouri State men's tennis team defeated Northwood in the round of sixteen in the NCAA Division Two National tournament late last night in Orlando, Florida.
The win is the Northwest men's first victory in the national tournament since match play was implemented a number of years ago. The match was delayed several hours due to rain in the central Florida area.
The Bearcats won the match 5-2 but head coach, Mark Rosewell, says his team had to come from behind for the victory.
