Grand Jury in Nodaway County

For the first time in over 30 years, a grand jury has been convened in Nodaway County.  

Prosecuting Attorney Robert Rice says he requested the formation of a grand jury for the county to handle certain types of criminal cases.

Rice says the first use of the grand jury took place Wednesday where he presented three separate cases to the jury.

The current grand jury in Nodaway County will be in place for the next six months and Rice says he anticipates requesting another grand jury to be formed at that time.
