The Green Hills Community Action Agency's summer utility assistance program will begin next month.
The agency's Summer Energy Crisis Intervention Program (ECIP) helps residents within a nine county core service area in Missouri. The ECIP program helps residents by supplementing utility payment if they happen to fall behind.
If a resident was approved for winter assistance between October 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014, the resident is pre-eligible for summer funds.
There are strict qualifications and regulations surrounding the program, and households must follow guidelines and meet requirements before assistance can be provided.
Summer applications will not be accepted until Monday, June 2, 2014 and will be made available through mail, email, fax, or online at ghcaa.org/. For more information, call the Agency at 855-290-8544.
