Spring Turkey Harvest Totals Are In

For the third straight year, Missouri turkey hunters increased the number of turkeys killed during the spring season. Hunters in the northwest district posted similar numbers. Holt County Conservation Agent Anthony Maupin says good weather was one of the reasons for this year's numbers.

Maupin says one aspect of this year's season that has the conservation department officials concerned was seven firearms-related incidents.
