Missouri Department of Conservation Hosts Quail Workshop

The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) will host a Quail Management Workshop on Saturday, May 17, 2014. 
The MDC, along with the Natural Resources Conservation Service and Soil and Water Conservation Districts in Caldwell, Carroll, and Ray counties will present the three hour workshop.
The workshop's topics include bobwhite quail biology, habitat favorable to quail, and cost share programs that help property managers improve habitats for quail.
Media Specialist for the MDC, Bill Graham, says the quail population in Missouri continues to go down.

The workshop begins Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. and runs until 12:00 p.m. The workshop will be held at the Riverview Properties south of Cowgill, Mo.
