Local Library Continues Workshops for Young Writers

A local library will continue their yearlong workshops for young writers,
The Rolling Hills Library recently received the Spotlight on Literacy Grant from the Missouri State Library.
With the help of the grant, Rolling Hills Library will continue workshops developing language skills by introducing different types of creative writing.
Participants will learn about research, plotting, characterization, revising, editing techniques and marketing.
Library Assistant for Publicity, Alan Stolfus, says aspiring authors will receive help along the way.

Stolfus adds anyone can participate in the workshops.

The next workshop will be on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Kansas City author Elizabeth Bunce will speak about strategies for novel revision.
