Improvements Scheduled for Nodaway County Roads

Nodaway County voters in April approved a sales tax increase to fund improvements to the county roads.

Nodaway County South District Commissioner, Bob Stiens, says the county will begin seeing money from the sales tax increase come in later this fall.

Stiens  also says the added revenue will allow the commissioners place some of the money currently being used for road improvements back into their budget for other maintenance projects in Nodaway County.
