Food Safety for Summer Gatherings

With the heart of summer fastly approaching, public gatherings such as county fairs, festivals, and outdoor concerts will be the hot spot for people. During these events, many organizations will be selling cooked foods at their stands.

Environmental public health specialist with the Nodaway County Health Center, Tom Patterson, says there are certain guidelines people need to follow if they want to feed the public.
