Chillicothe City Council Recap

The Chillicothe City Council met this week to address concerns over a wall of a building which once was the site of an impressive mural in the community. The building is located in the northwest corner of Clay and Washington streets and is privately owned.

Chillicothe Mayor Chuck Haney says the Council hired an outside consultant to review the cost of renovating the wall.

Haney says the Chillicothe City Council feels it's not the city's responsibility to repair the privately-owned structure.

Haney adds the Council also approved a request for a dog park to be located at Mills Park.
