The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission says state-required boating safety courses are offered throughout the state.
State law requires that anyone who operates a motorboat or personal watercraft, born after Dec. 31, 1985, must complete a boating safety course. Operators also must have course certificates when operating the boats or watercraft. People must be at least 14-years-of-age to operate a watercraft.
