Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday Coming Soon

Missouri's annual Green Sales Tax Holiday is just around the corner.
From Saturday, April 19 through Friday, April 25, shoppers around Missouri will have the opportunity to purchase energy-efficient appliances without paying the usual 4.225% state sales tax.
In addition to the state tax exemption, some counties and cities including Maryville will not collect sales tax on Energy Star appliances.
Missouri Department of Revenue Director of Communications, Michelle Gleba, says the Show Me Green Sales Tax Holiday can save consumers a considerable amount of money while helping the environment.
