Reenactment planned for Living History Festival

The Living History Festival will be hosted this weekend in Plattsburg by the Clinton County Historical Society and Reenactment Committee.
The Festival features the 150th Commemorative of the Battle of Plattsburg as well as speakers Gladys Caines-Coggswell and Joe Louis Mattox who will entertain and educated the audience on the importance of understanding and preserving African-American heritage.
Co-Coordinator and Co-Director of the event, Jan Schwarz, says Saturday's event will be informative for area residents.

The reenactment of the 1864 Battle of Plattsburg will take place at Perkins Park in Plattsburg, Mo. at 1:00 p.m. on   Saturday, April 26, 2014.
Other events, including live music, will take place throughout the weekend at the Riley House Museum and in downtown Plattsburg.
