Outlook for Spring Crops Improving

With the recent rain the northwest Missouri area received, the outlook for spring crops continues to improve.
However, Agronomy Specialist and County Program Director for the University of Missouri Extension Center, Wayne Flanary, says even with the recent rain, the soil remains dry.

Flanary adds that sub-soil moisture is important for crop growth.
