A group called Maryville Partners in Prevention held a town hall meeting last night to discuss ways to reduce underage use of alcohol in the community.
One of those in attendance was Maryville Public Safety Director, Keith Wood, who says alcohol use by minors isn't just a problem affecting Maryville.
Maryville Partners in Prevention is a coalition of substance abuse and wellness personnel from Northwest Missouri State University.
The organization meets the second Wednesday of every month.
