Nodaway County Sales Tax Issue

Nodaway County residents will be going to the polls Tuesday to decide a half-cent sales tax increase to fund gravel purchases for county roads.  North District Commissioner Bob Westfall says the added revenue from the sales tax increase would fund an additional million dollars in gravel each year.

Westfall says if the issue passes the additional gravel purchases will mean increased road safety for bus routes, ambulance response and residents in the rural areas of Nodaway County.
