College and high school students and community members will present business ideas in an annual competition tomorrow.
The third annual New Venture Pitch Competition at Northwest Missouri State University gives high school and college students, as well as community members, the opportunity to pitch their ideas.
The students and entrepreneurs will present the ideas to professionals, small business owners and potential investors.
Assistant Professor of Management in the Northwest Department of Business Ben Blackford says the competition will begin with an elevator pitch.
Blackford, adds, a Northwest alum will speak at the event.
The event takes place from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. tomorrow in the J.W. Jones Student Union on the Northwest campus.
