Museum to Showcase History of Fillmore

Area residents will have a chance to learn more about the early years of Fillmore, Missouri Saturday afternoon. 
The "History of Fillmore" presented by longtime resident, Marti Schuman, will be held at the Andrew County Museum in Savannah. 
Museum Director, Glenn Uminowicz, says early settler's of Fillmore in the 1840's were intent on establishing a code of moral conduct for the community.

Uminowicz says they hope to offer similar programs on the history of other smaller communities in Andrew County. 
The Fillmore program will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at he Andrew County Museum. The museum is located at 202 East Duncan Drive in Savannah, Mo.
