Maryville 8th safest in Missouri

A national real estate organization lists Maryville as one of the top ten safest places to live in Missouri. Movoto Real Estate's ranking of the top ten safest communities in Missouri is based on the Federal Bureau of Investigation's 2012 crime statistics, the FBI's latest full report. 
Maryville is ranked 8th in the report and Maryville Public Safety Lieutenant Ron Christian says he believes most in the community consider Maryville a safe place to live and his department works hard to ensure the safety of its residents.

The City of Town and Country, near St. Louis is considered the safest community in Missouri.  Movoto lists Branson as the most dangerous community in Missouri, where residents have a one in seven chance of being a victim of a crime.
