Course Offered on Workplace Computing

Iowa Western Continuing Education is offering a four day introductory course on workplace computing course in Shenandoah, Iowa.
This course is designed for those with little to no experience with computers.
Business and computer coordinator for Iowa Western Continuing Education, Amber Carcel, says technology is becoming more important in almost every workplace.

Topics covered in the course will include: how a computer works, using Windows, word processing, internet, and email.
The course will be held at the Iowa Western Campus in Shenandoah and will be offered Monday, April 21 through Thursday, April 24, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. daily.
The course will also be offered at the Iowa Western Campus in Clarinda Monday, May 19 through Thursday, May 22, 2014.
