Construction to Begin on Maryville R-2 Improvements

Construction on the Long Rang Facility Planning for the Maryville R2 School District will begin soon.
At last night’s Maryville R-2 School Board Meeting, Maryvillle Superintendent, Larry Linthacum, layed out a timeline of events.
Linthacum says the plans will be finalized in the coming months.

Linthacum adds Manning Construction of Kansas City will complete the project.
When construction is complete, the school will have a new performing arts center, more secure entrances to the elementary, middle, high school and vocational school.
There will also be a new kitchen and commons area constructed for the elementary school as well as a new practice gymnasium at the high school.
