City Council Swears In New Members

The Maryville City Council officially has a new look.
During last night's Maryville City Council meeting Tim Shipley and Rachael Martin were sworn into their new positions on the council. The new members replaced outgoing Mayor Jim Fall and Councilman Ron Moss.
With a new council in place came the next measure of change. The council elected the newest Mayor for the City.
Former Mayor Pro Tem and downtown business woman Renee Riedel  will serve a one-year term as the new Mayor of Maryville.
Mayor Riedel says she is honored to be the next Mayor of Maryville.

Riedel has served on the Council since May of 2012. She says it has been a pleasure working with both Jim Fall and Ron Moss.

After Riedel was elected as Mayor, the Council unanimously selected Tim Shipley as Mayor Pro Tem.
