City Council Meeting Recap

Land-use ordinances and an ordinance to execute a contract with Mid America Pump were some of the new items discussed during last night's Maryville City Council meeting.
The Council voted unanimously in favor of a contract with Mid America Pump to repair a sewer pump in the City.
The City currently has seven lift stations that force sewer from one location to another through gravity flow to the East side of town.
Maryville City Manager Greg McDanel says the repairs need to be made at the East Lift Station.
