Wind Farm in Holt County

A wind farm construction project scheduled to begin later this year in Holt County could create 300 jobs initially to the region with 12 to 14 permanent full-time jobs when the wind farm is operating.  Element Power will build the wind farm and sell power generated by the facility to Kansas City Power and Light.  Spokesperson for KCP & L Rebecca Galati says the two organizations have signed a twenty year agreement which should benefit customers of KCP & L.
