Watch out for Pedestrians
Warmer temperatures bring a refreshing change from the frigid winter but the mild weather can still be dangerous.
More people are breaking free from cabin fever by riding bikes and walking to their destinations.
Every spring, the Maryville Department of Public Safety reminds pedestrians and motorists to be mindful of each other on the roadways.
Director of Public Safety Keith Wood says if everyone does their part, the roads will be safer.
Wood adds the department typically doesn't see an increase in accidents in the spring like they do in the fall.
