Town Hall Meeting

A Maryville town hall meeting will take place next month.
The Maryville Citizens for Community Action and the Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce will hold the Candidates' Forum and Town Hall meeting April 1, 2014.
The Forum will give the community the option to ask questions about two initiatives on the April ballot.
The Maryville R-II School District Bond Issue for facility upgrades and the Nodaway County Half Cent Sales Tax for gravel will be on the ballot.
The community will have the opportunity to ask questions of the three possible candidates for two seats on the Maryville City Council.
The candidates are Rachael Martin, Tim Shipley, and Adam Switzer.
One of the organizers for the Maryville town hall meeting, David McLaughlin says it is important for the community to understand the three candidates' ideas.
