St. Gregory's Geography Bee

For the second year in a row, a student from St. Gregory's in Maryville, Mo. advanced to the State Semi-Finals of the National Geography Bee.
Mason Walk is the son of Scott and Karen Walk of Maryville, Mo.
Walk first competed against his classmates before taking a qualifying test administered by the National Geographic Society. Semifinalists were then chosen based upon test scores.
Walk now advances to compete for the state title April fourth at Moberly Area Community College.
The state winner wins $100 and has the opportunity to compete at the national bee in Washington D.C.
